- About the Author
- Charles Williams holds a B.D. in English Bible, a D.Min.
in Urban Missions and has pastored, ministered as a chaplain at a
rescue mission, and as an associate pastor in evangelism in San
Francisco. He is the author of several contextual tracts and an
evangelism and discipling tool called Growing in the Lord, available FREE at The Gospel Herald. He has
written several articles that have appeared in Pulpit
Helps, (February and March 2004)
- Charles is the president of The Gospel Herald, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose ministry is to spread the
message of salvation through Jesus Christ by open air evangelism and tract distribution to Northern Nevada and Phoenix,
Arizona.

Bible Genealogy
- The Connection is a Bible genealogy tool, with an index, listing the
Bible genealogies from Genesis through Luke. It is worth the price of the book in itself,
and it is included free. An example is found in the "Can

- How and Why this Book Came About
- In taking a seminary Old Testament history course we were told on Friday that there would be
a test on King David at the next class, which was Monday. A lot of territory to cover and
not too much time. My thinking was, "How can I help others in the future."
In 1987 I remembered
the situation and I began compiling the book. It took many rewrites and many
looked it over to see if it would help others. Those who looked it over were thrilled
with this tool and several used it in an uncompleted form. I have used it to develop other tools
that are listed on this web site. The time it took to research "I'm More Than a Name"
was minimized which allowed more time for actual Bible Study. It was finished in
2003 and "I'm more than a name in November 2004.
